Barber QuarterThe Barber Quarter was designed by Charles E. Barber, and is also referred to as the Liberty Head Quarter. There are 3 key dates, 1896-S, 1901-S and the 1913-S. The quarter hubs were changed in 1892 to allow the coins to stack better, and both the obverse and reverse were redesigned in 1900 because the coins were to thin.

Proofs were minted every year except 1916.
